These Terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Teleprompterz. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them — they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

01Acceptance of terms

Teleprompterz ("the Service", "we", "us") is a web-based teleprompter and recording application operated at teleprompterz.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using Teleprompterz on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

02Your account

To use most features you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password secure and not share your login credentials.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account.

03Acceptable use

You agree not to use Teleprompterz to:

  • Violate any law, or infringe the rights of others.
  • Record or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or hateful.
  • Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or probe its security.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that violate this section.

04Your content

You retain ownership of the scripts, recordings, and other materials you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — for example, to sync your scripts across devices or render your recordings.

You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights necessary to use it. We do not claim ownership of your recordings.

05AI-generated scripts

Teleprompterz can generate script drafts using AI. These drafts are provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, and for ensuring the final content is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for your audience.

AI output may occasionally be inaccurate or unoriginal. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is fit for a particular purpose or free of third-party rights.

06Plans & billing

Teleprompterz offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled.
  • You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

07Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, logos, and trademarks — is owned by Teleprompterz and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without prior written consent.

08Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if required to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

09Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teleprompterz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
