Is Teleprompterz free?
You can start on the Free plan with no credit card: 5 recordings a month, 3 AI scripts, 9:16 export and the basic teleprompter. Pro is $12 a month and adds unlimited recordings and scripts, all four export sizes, captions from your speech and full video editing.
How does voice-paced scrolling work?
Turn on Voice-Paced in the prompter settings and Teleprompterz listens as you read. The script moves at your pace, and when you pause it eases to a stop and waits. If you go off script it holds and shows "Off script — paused". It uses your browser's speech recognition, so it works in Chrome and Edge; other browsers fall back to auto-scroll.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Writing, reading, recording, captions, editing and export all run in your browser, on a laptop or on a phone. If you prefer recording on your phone, the iOS and Android apps sync with the same account.
Can the AI write my script for me?
Yes. Give it a video topic, a target platform (Instagram, YouTube or LinkedIn) and a duration. It writes a hook, key points and a call to action, plus copy for your post. You can edit every line before you record.
Which sizes can I export?
9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9, for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. Each export renders one size, so you can export the same take to every size, one after another.
Are captions added automatically?
Captions are generated from your speech when you ask for them. You can style the font, size, colour and position, burn them into the video, or download an .SRT file.
Can I control the prompter with a remote?
Yes. A Bluetooth presentation remote works once it is paired, and you can map its buttons. Web Remote turns your phone's browser into a remote: scan the QR code to get a live monitor, the script and the transport controls.
